My home school classes got a makeover for 2020! They are 3 week sessions every odd month of the year (Jan, March, May etc) and will have an overarching theme for each session to ensure the projects change up. See below for themes and dates.
Hand sewing is an excellent skill for your child to learn as it challenges their hand eye coordination and fine motor skills, as well as gets them to think creatively on how to build things with fabric. This class is best suited for kids who are mature enough to sit still for awhile, because we’ll be doing some ‘slow stitching’ which can be a bit challenging!
This class runs for 3 Thursdays from 11:00-12:15 and are open to kids as young as 5 years old. Older kids are welcome as well!
January session: 1/16, 1/23 and 1/30. Theme: Doll Clothes (American Girl or similar dolls)
March session: 3/12, 3/19 and 3/26 Theme: Fun with Food
May session: 5/14, 5/21 and 5/28 Theme: Our Favorite Animals
