Recommended Fabrics: The Joan Pants are designed for knit fabrics with at least 20% stretch. Knits with a bit of body are ideal: ponte knits, french terry, double knits, interlock knits. You want your fabric to be thick enough that it will be comfortable to wear as pants.
Necessary Notions: Coordinating thread, 1 button (¾”-1”), Stretch/ballpoint machine needle, 7/8 yard 3/8” wide elastic, Hand sewing needle
