Event Details

This course runs Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm for 8 weeks beginning  1/11 with the final class on 3/1. If you are unable to attend a class you will need to complete homework (machines available to loan) or attend Open Studio night on the first Friday of the month from 7:30-10pm.

Let’s start at the very beginning [a very good place to start] and learn how to make a quilt with our quilting instructor Mandy Richards! This course is designed so that if you’re new to quilting or sewing altogether you will be able to create a beautiful quilt from start to finish. The pattern for this Winter’s class is the Asagail by Villa Rosa Patterns. Each time we offer this course we rotate between multiple beginner friendly quilts, so you can take this course again and again! The quilt will finish as a throw sized quilt.

In the first class we will discuss color theory and shop for fabric so you don’t need to purchase fabric prior to class, unless you would like to shop elsewhere. If you do shop elsewhere please bring your materials to the first class.

This is a Beginner Adult Course for ages 16+.

*We understand that the one time cost for a course like this can be out of budget for some, so if you would like to split the cost of class up into 3 payments you can click through to this listing to register using split payment
